Scholarships in Overview

Seattle Colleges Foundation scholarships are available to help students at North, Central and South cover tuition and/or living expenses while in school. Applications are accepted each year in Winter quarter for the upcoming academic year. One simple application qualifies current and incoming students to be considered for hundreds of scholarship opportunities.

Applications for 2025-2026 scholarships open on January 15. You must apply by midnight on March 18, 2025.

A wide array of students are eligible for a Seattle Colleges Foundation scholarship. Students who attend part-time or full-time, international students, DACA/undocumented students, BAS students, and Running Start students who will be graduating from high school this year are all eligible and encouraged to apply. All applicants must:

  • Plan to attend and enroll in any of the three Seattle Colleges (North Seattle College, Seattle Central College, or South Seattle College) in the upcoming academic year

  • Have a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA at any of the Seattle Colleges or former institution

  • Complete the FAFSA or WASFA (not required but strongly encouraged)

The application for 2025-2026 scholarships opens January 15, 2025. 

Applications must be submitted online by midnight on March 18, 2025.

Applicants will be notified of the status of their application in May 2025.

Applications for Seattle Colleges Foundation scholarships are accepted each year in Winter quarter for the upcoming academic year. The application includes:

  • General information

  • Academic background and goals (including unofficial transcript)

  • Community/campus involvement, work, and/or personal responsibility

  • Financial circumstances

  • Two written statements (200-400 words each):

    • Personal statement

    • Purpose statement

  • Résumé (optional)
