North, Central and South Seattle Colleges serve 35,000 students — many of them the first in their families to pursue higher education, many struggling against the rising cost of living in our city, many working multiple jobs while attending school. These students are not abstractions; they are future nurses, electricians, early childhood educators, entrepreneurs, and leaders. When they succeed, Seattle succeeds. Your generosity removes barriers so each student can reach their potential as individuals and community contributors. Here are four ways to invest:

Stay in the Game, an initiative launched with start-up funding from the Seattle Mariners, helps students through scholarships, emergency grants, and college navigators. While tuition is low at the Seattle Colleges (~$5K year), other costs of living add up fast. Scholarships ease some of these daily costs for promising students, and one-time emergency grants cover setbacks like a stolen laptop or suddenly losing a roommate. College navigators help students quickly find the right path of study — because time is money. Learn more.

The Seattle Promise Endowment funds added student support and innovation in an ongoing partnership among the Colleges, the City, and Seattle Public Schools (SPS) to provide two years of free Seattle Colleges tuition and wraparound services to recent SPS grads.
