Give now to Seattle Central's Apparel Design & Development program

About the program
It's not easy running one of the nation's premier apparel design programs, especially if you're a community college like Seattle Central, committed to keeping tuition low. For years, revenues from other Central programs helped subsidize costlier offerings like AD&D. But — at Central and community colleges nationwide — the pandemic crushed enrollment and pressured budgets. Earlier in 2022, there was even talk that AD&D might need to close.
Happily, recognizing that AD&D is a treasure not easily replaced, the community mobilized to help. Legislators are looking into added funding. Industry is organizing and contributing support. Individuals are generously giving, whether because they're AD&D alums or simply because they want to support creative expression that has practical impact on each of our everyday lives.
Right now, the Donald Family Foundation has put up an extraordinary $300K matching grant to help stitch together a more secure future for AD&D. Your contribution will be matched dollar for dollar!
